North Texas wakesurfing legend and pioneer. Pam has helped pioneer the Womens Wednesday movement as seen on NBC 5. DFW Surf Club women gather every Wednesday evening and do what they love- “JUST SURF.” Pam is also queen of competition and has several 1st place Women’s Master’s trophies in her belt.
Hannah Steiner is Ms. Dallas marketing guru. She is a genius at market branding as seen in her efforts with Austin based cold coffee company – High Brew. Rich Stewart is a paddle God. He has a professional background in the Olympic canoeing arena and now in his short time on a paddleboard he is already dominating the Texas racing scene. One of Texas Top Women’s Paddlers, Konae Wehle has a general passion for health and wellness. A PaddleFit Level 2 coach, Konae excels in distance paddling and new for 2016 she has created a “Womens Wednesdays,” a weekly paddle program for active women who want to have fun and stay in shape.
Danny is one of the founders of DFW Surf, wakesurfing athlete and coach. In 2013 at the age of 15 Parker became the Amateur World Champ at the World Series of Wake Surfing, and by 2014 he became the # 2 National Champ as a professional. Talk about progression! Today Parker Payne is the face of wakesurfing, team rider for Supra Boats and a dominant athlete in the Pro Wakesurf Tour and beyond. Congrats Parker, you did it!
Ashley is the definition of surf style. She is the most decorated wake surf athlete of all time and the current World Champ. For 2014 she surfed an undefeated season and finally took the podium at the most coveted wake surfing event- The World Championship of Wake Surfing on Lake Las Vegas. The very first DFW Surf team member and a legend in the bodyboard industry. Alyssa grew up boarding at Hurricane Harbors Retro and finally got into stand up at the Aqua Shop in Plano. Today Alyssa lives in California and is the co-owner of Hype Surf Company.
Perry Morrison is one of the top wakesurfers in Texas at only the age of 12. He started surfing at the age of 7 under the guidance of his coach, Tyler Marshall and three years later he took 3rd at the pro wakesurf comp in Fort Worth and first at the DFW Surf Open and Mastercraft Fall Brawl. At only ten years old Perry has just joined up with the Tige Boats evolution team. Today he has started a program on Lake Grapevine called “Tige Tuesdays” where kids can learn to surf for free.
Camera in Chief for DFW Surf, professional landscape and sports photographer, Tim Marek, is the man behind the cam, local and regional events and action shots that make up the DFW Surf portofolio. When he is not shooting for DFW Surf and Boarders Magazine Tim is either wake surfing or creating custom wake surf socks through pieces of his travels.
Mike is the backbone for paddleboarding and longboard surfing at DFW Surf. He brings an aloha attitude all the way from Hawaii and he has laid the foundation for our outrigger/canoe like club and community within our organization. Don is one of the founding fathers of paddle boarding in North Texas. After moving to the Dallas area from Hawaii, Don found a way to connect again on the water through the new sport of paddle boarding. Today when Don is not paddling at DFW Surf at Lake Lewisville he is travelling to races like Watermans Paddle for Humanity in Austin where he and Peter Ching continue to top the veteran class.
