Yes! The only requirement for being a member is knowing how to do the watersports involved in membership. If you want to paddleboard you need to know how to paddle. Similarly if you want to use the E-Foils or go wakesurfing you have to know how to foil/ surf
I took a beginners stand up paddle boarding class. Chris was a great teacher. He gave us a lot of information and advice I wouldn't have learned on my own. He was very patient with the students who were struggling and had ready answers to any questions we asked. Taking a class is also a great way to meet other beginners, so you can work on your skills together. I highly recommend DFW Surf and if you take a class with them, you won't regret it.
